Tobin started her acting career with her first Theatre Under the Stars' production of Cats in Houston. Tobin was part of the group as Etcetera. The following year, she was in Houston and she performed in the ensemble of Theater Under the Stars' production of West Side Story. Tobin played the role of Ensemble in Paper Mill Playhouse's High School Musical! New Jersey. Oklahoma! Theater of the Stars Company in Atlanta. Tobin was a substitute for Sherrie Christians and performed as the swing in Rock of Ages. Tobin toured the country in 2011 as part of The Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
