Aaliyah Daniel Haughton shot to stardom in 1994 with her album debut Age Ain't Nothing but a Numer. Aaliyah Danahaughton was only 15 when the album became Gold. The collaboration that in the direction of R. Kelly's music and put her in the limelight. In 1996, she teamed up with Jermaine Dpri as well as Timbaland on her second studio album One In A Million, featuring the number one hit song If Your Girl only Knew. Aarti Mann is an Indian-American from the one generation who was of origin born in Connecticut. Mann is her stage name. It is an abbreviation for Mankad, her married surname. She uses Aarti Mann and Aarti Majumdar as her professional name. She began her acting career with minor TV and film performances, but her fame grew during the middle 2000s. Other notable work includes Grey's Anatomy, Suits and Leverage. She has appeared in numerous commercials, including Volvo's global car maker. Her daughter is a resident of Los Angeles and is pursuing her acting.
